It's been interesting watching this conversation develop over the last 6-12 months, probably even more. I know I switch between podcast and show just by second nature now, depending on who I'm sharing with (a podcast Discord gets "podcast", generic online gets "show").

I have a show where I ask my guest 5 random questions, and I usually just use the word "chat" when sharing, since that's what it is, a chat.

Rob's point about the audience owning whatever they want the word to be is on point. For the creator, we just need to make the content.

Yeah. and this Spotify piece really seems to have restarted the conversation. I haven't had a chance yet to digest this one: https://soundsprofitable.com/article/the-implications-of-spotify-for-creators/

Yep, same - I had a brief look at that via email, but like you say needs a good deep dive, along with James's piece over at Podnews. Some good stuff around at the minute on this (including your content, mate, cheers!).

Thanks Danny. Cridland has a great rant at the 51 minute mark in today's Podnews Weekly Review. That too I need to spend a minute to analyze. Also I don't want my whole persona to be can-kicker, so I may chill for the weekend and let my piece about U2 run on Monday.
